<p>It turned out the upgrade silently nuked a bunch of optional Apple frameworks in<em> <span style="font-style: normal;"><strong>/Library/Frameworks/</strong></span></em>, on my machine the <strong>PluginManager.framework</strong> (required by Aperture) and a bunch of WebObjects related libraries. Restoring <strong>/Library/Frameworks/PluginManager.framework</strong> with TimeMachine fixed the crash.</p>
